Important Patient Information
We are happy to have your child as a patient in our office. It is our intent to see that patients receive the best dental services available and hope that the experience for you and your child will be a pleasant one.
On your child's first visit, they will receive an examination by Dr. Waldron, a dental cleaning, X-rays, oral hygiene instructions and a fluoride treatment. Upon completion of the examination, Dr. Waldron will meet with you and discuss your child's dental needs. When your child's dental treatment is complete, they will be placed on a 6 month periodic recare schedule for continuation of preventative dental care.
Dentistry for children is exacting and requires undivided attention from the child and the Doctor, therefore, parents are generally not allowed in the treatment area while dental procedures are being accomplished. If you anticipate that your child will require special attention from our staff for their behavioral needs, please inform us before their treatment begins.
Payment is expected at the time service is rendered and we do accept MasterCard and Visa for your convenience. We do not file insurance, but will give you the appropriate forms so that you can file for reimbursement.
Due to children's time and needs, appointments may vary in length ranging from 30 to 90 minutes depending upon the complexity of the work to be accomplished and the cooperation of the child. We ask that you give at least 24 hours notice if you must change your appointment. Failure to notify the office results in an open appointment which deprives other children of dental care.
ORAL HEALTH IS A VERY IMPORTANT ASPECT OF YOUR CHILD'S TOTAL PHYSICAL HEALTH and is an investment in their future health, happiness, and appearance. |
